I appreciate his desire to create something psychedelic and artistically relevant (even though it feels strange to listen to an album like this, with high references, made by someone who until recently was making music you yourself describe as "trash"), but overall I found it rather slow and a bit boring. The production is polished, but the sounds seem largely recycled from the influences you mention in the review. I’ll give it a passing grade.
