The Maggots Get Hooked!

I didn't understand anything, maybe because my feet don't stink.

Great review. I believe that house music (at least certain house) is not at all frivolous or just background music, but rather it has its roots in soul, funk, and generally in the splendor of past African American music, reworked and updated for the turn of the millennium generations. You only need to listen to Masters At Work, Felix Da Housecat, or a great producer like Armand Van Helden to realize this, not to mention the "French school." I'll give the album a listen, thanks for highlighting it 😎

No less?
Depeche Mode Ultra
Voto:
With this album, Depeche Mode have proven that they're still around. Four stars and a little bit more (sure, "Insight" is a bit weak, but they can be forgiven anything).

Finally a bit of electronics at CasaPagina.

A more "concise" review than usual, that's fine. As for the cover, it seems to me that the pompous and somewhat kitschy arrangement weighs down a song that is beautiful in its simplicity. I don't like it.
Grover Washington, Jr. Mister Magic

I'll read it tomorrow, right now I don't understand anything. Historic title track and clever production by mister Bob James.
Linkin Park Lost

I liked it, even if it's a bit too much for a Linkin Park fan 😃
In the early 2000s, "nu metal" (a term I hate) wasn't in such an embryonic stage, though: bands like KoRn, Limp Bizkit, Machine Head, and Slipknot had already emerged. I’d say it was almost on its last legs.
