Killswitch Engage Alive Or Just Breathing

If you consider it a mishmash of stuff thrown together, stay away from metalcore and related genres because I don't think it's for you :) I really liked it, though I need to give it more listens. Definitely a 4.

They are not among my favorites, partly because I don't like those who exploit music just to do politics, even if they have been doing it consistently for a long time... The only album of theirs I can listen to is "Banditi," maybe because Ice One is behind the sampler, or maybe because it's the only one where they distance themselves from cheap rhetoric and political propaganda, who knows... But the review is fantastic :)

Ah, it doesn't charge 100%! Damn, I charged it twice, two samples are useless! :|

Sure, Jo, even when he threw himself on the ground and started writhing with the guitar that looked like it was about to explode... Oh my God, what geniuses, and the initial intro with which they opened "I Love You Golden Blue"?? And the 15 minutes of "Rain On Tin"??? Oh my God, how cool was Kim Gordon when she started dancing to "Drunken Butterfly"... Anyway, I only regret that I wasn't already DeBaseriota, otherwise I would have joined the gang even though in the evening I was pretty dirty, shook up, and disgusting; I don't think I would have made a good impression! :DDD

When I saw them live in Bologna, I was losing it; as soon as they started "Teenage Riot," I couldn't understand anything anymore, we organized an intense pogo :DD

I’m not interested, I listened a little and they don’t say anything to me, maybe I will never listen to them deeply… But HOW OLD ARE YOU? I don’t know, my sister at 10 wrote better…

Great compà! :D I would also recommend another nice compilation called "Inner City Sounds," released by Ubiquity Records. It's a collection of soul and underground funk published by Inner City Records from the late '60s to the early '70s. If you produce or just drool at the thought of afro hairstyles, flared pants, and groovy Hammond organs, then you're in for a treat! I think I'll do the same with this one ;)

While I’m not entirely convinced that it's the most representative album of the '90s, it's a stunning record, undoubtedly showcasing a remarkable expansion of Sonic Youth's sound. There's also a strong influence from grunge on this album; in my opinion, "Washing Machine" is even more representative, although perhaps slightly less intense than "Dirty," because it’s an album where Sonic Youth seem to declare: "We can still experiment, we haven’t sold out." In any case, "Dirty" remains fantastic, just less "innovative." ;)
