If they come back, I'm definitely going to see Mastodon :D With Converge I feel pure violence, Giubbo; maybe I sense suffering in Isis, in Buried Inside (amazing, you should all listen to "Chronoclast" if you haven't already!), in Neurosis, in Burst too, but with Converge it’s just violence, violence, violence, even though a piece like the title track of the latest album is a bit of a manifesto of existential malaise. Still, it's unique; in the other songs, I feel PURE VIOLENCE :DDD

I went on Saturday and had an unforgettable day among reeds, alcohol, and great music. I wasn't there on Sunday, and maybe that was for the best ;D

Unfortunately, no Soc, not even "The Metamorphosis," I'm just a clueless person with a culture that's slowly and steadily progressing! :)) Now I'm reading Auster's New York Trilogy, very beautiful, especially "The Locked Room" ;)

I guess, okay but in Northern Europe they’re really out of it... Anyway, it seems to me that Converge are coming to Milan at the end of the month, and the Mastodon concert in Milan got cancelled, which I was considering going to :(((

Between Sage Francis and Sole, I prefer Sole, even though they are much more "standard" compared to cLOUDDEAD. If you want something really sick, try the album by Boom Bip & Dose One, or Why?'s solo album, where he's on the cover drowning in a pool, a scene that really reminds me of "Kikujiro's Summer" :DD Or check out any of Odd Nosman's instrumental albums, the producer of cLOUDDEAD, especially "No More Wig For Ohio."

dboon, I'm an old fanatic of rarovideo, I found and ordered some great stuff from the site ("El Topo," "The Holy Mountain" by the legendary Jodo, "Tetsuo" by Tsukamoto, "The Driller Killer" by Ferrara, even "A Mosca Cieca" by Romano Scavolini in a moment of total madness). I've always thought about Richard Kern's DVD but I never found it; I guess I'll take a look around the site ;)

The Daleks devastate kosmo, one of the best rap tracks I've ever heard at least since 2000, and I've listened to a lot of stuff, you know? :))

Sure, the post-hardcore fans are unsettling anyway... I mean, I would never scream to the lead singer of Converge "You suck", I think at the very least I wouldn’t find my balls and my head in 2 seconds flat ;D

Fuck, speaking of "bad" rap, these days I've got Smoothe Da Hustler, Trigger Tha Gambler, Mobb Deep, and MOP in heavy rotation on the stereo. Damn, if you asked Smoothe how he was doing, he’d shoot you in the head; he has such a ghetto bastard voice! These guys really have their balls in perpetual rotation! Metalheads, go get it in the asssssssssss :DDDD

Jordan, I'll try to listen to it again more carefully too, but on the first listens, I just couldn't get into it. :)
