Nick, maybe you're right; listening to it again, it does sound a bit "dated," but maybe it's just that d'n'b has declined a bit over the years. In any case, this album is still a banger :))

No way, you have to turn me onto the post-hardcore-sludge-doom-grind, otherwise it’s better to call it quits, I'm telling you, to malinQuore :-O Anyway, if my fellow countryman Nick likes them, I’ll give these Angra a listen ;)

Caz, recommend me the most mind-blowing album by Los Natas, please.

Listened to it, really beautiful. However, personally, unless other listens prove me wrong, I prefer the sound of Isis, especially that of "Panopticon." There, "Panopticon" is the perfect synthesis of heaviness and psychedelic exploration, post-rock and similar styles; here instead it seems to me they’re leaning too much towards the latter, renouncing the former. For some, that might be a good thing; I honestly don’t mind screaming and big guitars. For now, 4.5, then we'll see :))

Question from an ignorant person: what’s the point of making a record like this, that sounds like a 1989 album? I don’t know, let future generations decide... Almost as indispensable as Luzzatto Fegiz.

Yes, yes, yes, I'm quite drawn to these, I like the crazy ones. Or rather, anyone who mixes Miles Davis, Frank Zappa, and KRS-One has to go through my stereo :D Great suggestion!

Could "Blues For The Red Sun," which was already a total masterpiece, have been better? Obviously yes, and the answer is this monolith of Hard-Psych, Stoner, or however you want to call it. "Welcome To Sky Valley" is a journey (both physical and, above all, mental), the most beautiful album ever by Kyuss and Josh Homme, and as kosmo says, if it's not the last, it's certainly one of the last great "classics" of our times. It should be listened to at least once in a lifetime and, perhaps more than once, while high. Rating: 10+ according to Amadori :D

Hey Li, my love, how are you? :D Come on, enough is enough, a sweet girl like you can't listen to vintage progressive metal, switch to Tiziano Ferro and the Blues, there's still time for you! :P I don't know these, but let's say that the genre isn't my strong suit, cover halfway between beautiful and tacky, in pure prog-epic-power tradition :D

Amazing, "Mondo Generator" is evil, to be listened to while high period :D

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz too far for me, sorry! :( I would love to come, but I’m already going for Autechre in Rome and for Isis/Jesu in Bologna, I’ll try to set up some meetings for these lives anyway ;)
