I keep saying that on this site it seems that some people take almost pleasure in destroying bands that are objectively "historic." I mean, I respect personal tastes, but hearing that the fathers of modern electronic music are overly praised and that DM are just a little synth-pop group with no substance leaves me a bit perplexed. Then again, to each their own, but sometimes enough is enough, people.

But one last thing. Who the hell ever said that I like 99 Posse? I much prefer Almamegretta, 24 Grana, La Famiglia; the 99 Posse were more of a political phenomenon than a musical one, and I've never appreciated them all that much (even though I've probably seen them live a billion times). Want a Neapolitan band that perfectly combines political commitment and great musicality? Check out the now disbanded Codice 22 (of which I also know the former bassist), rap metal in the vein of RATM, all in Neapolitan dialect. Two years ago, they even opened for a Linea 77 concert and totally smashed it. The album was called "Ci avete rotto i coglioni," find it or download it because it's really worth it. Cheers to todos.

Ah, thank you Stefano for standing up for me. If I pass through Puglia this summer, we definitely need to hang out together in Salento ;D Here, the great Giubbo suggests Axis Of Perdition, for me that’s an immense metal band, a group that reinterprets the classic standards of a certain metal by taking them to an even greater extreme. Urban foundry black metal, to be played at full blast on the assembly line.

Hey, I didn't know you had sparked such an incredible mess. Dear powettoni, am I wrong or are we in a democracy (even if I have my doubts)? If so, everyone has the right to express their ideas and opinions; sometimes I do it in a colorful and ironic way, especially regarding the power-epic-prog metal that I hate with all my soul :D As usual, I see the same old communist insults, red sewer, Neapolitan which, read on a computer screen, have the same effect as the images I see on TV: they scroll before my eyes with total indifference.
