I adore Photek. Three albums, three masterpieces; I really appreciate the club/house turn in "Solaris". Maybe I'll think about writing a nice little review about it ;-))

I'll do even more, I recommend that among the 4 Hero albums you also pick up the first one, "Parallel Universe," perhaps their true masterpiece and undoubtedly a record of fundamental importance (alongside "Timeless" by Goldie) for the conceptual transition from "Jungle" to proper "Drum'n'Bass." From Lootpack, get "Soundpieces: The Antidote," which I enjoyed for quite a while. For Madlib (who is the group's producer), go straight for "The Unseen" under his alter ego Quasimoto and "Madvillainy" by Madvillainy, a project where Madlib produces everything and that genius MF Doom lays down the raps. Nice :-)

Ah, I see, they might also remind me of the 4 Heroes from "Two Pages" for the approach... I'll find them right away, thanks for the tip ;-)

Yes, exactly, his studio albums are very hard to find as originals, while the live ones are much easier to come across. If you like it, try listening to any work by Lootpack or Madlib, a hip-hop producer who, besides having sampled Sun Ra, creates soundscapes very close to that kind of warped and distorted jazz. Saludos

Spring Hell Jack? I don't think so... But do they still do D&B?

Ajeje, congratulations on your ranking in your profile! Do you like Sun Ra? ;D I love "Space Is The Place" in addition to "Atlantis." What a genius that man is! :-))

Get it now, in my opinion it's the best in Squarepusher's discography. The second would be "Hard Normal Daddy," which I also mentioned in the review, amazing ;-) "Go Plastic" is also very nice, I haven't listened to the latest one and I've read mixed reviews, I'll judge after I've listened to it... In any case, "Big Loada" is a must-have! Bye :-)
