Robert Lippok Falling Into Komëit

The Tarwater are amazing, I don't know this one and I'm not sure if I'll have the time to listen to it. Anyway, I really appreciate indietronica (Notwist, Mum, Dntel, Matmos, Fennesz, Tarwater and so on) and your recommendation. Nice :-)

Alex, John Foxx's "Metamatic" is beautiful. Warm congratulations on the purchases ;-)

Is rap immediate? Is El-P's "Fantastic Damage" and Peanut Butter Wolf's "My Vinyl Weighs A Ton" immediate and cool? Is "Funcrusher Plus" or "Little Johnny From The Hospital" by Company Flow immediate? What about "Absence" by Dalek? "The Cold Vein" by Cannibal Ox? "Bad Dreams" and "Monsters In The Closet" by Swollen Members? Or the self-titled album by cLOUDDEAD, "The Unseen" by Quasimoto, or any production from Lex Records, Mush, or Anticon? I believe one should do some research before passing judgment on something they don't even know, rap isn't just "TUPAC VS. EMINEM" ;-) Best regards.

MA3X, I apologize for calling your review terrible; perhaps my excessive love for DM led me to exaggerate my judgment. Let’s say that hearing someone talk about soft fish and Berlusconi with a pseudo-subversive style reminiscent of Lester Bangs while discussing one of their albums annoys me quite a bit. With this, I do not want to criminalize non-reviews or emotional ones; it’s just that artists of this caliber deserve a little more professionalism rather than just "Pesci Molli" ;-) Best regards.

Oh, since I'm at it, I would also add the compilation "Platinum Breakz Vol. 1" by Metalheadz and "Mysteries Of Funk" by Grooverider (wonderful). Nice ;-)

Difficult to choose, there are many that I adore. Starting with "Parallel Universe" and "Two Pages" by 4 Hero, "Timeless" by Goldie, "New Forms" by Roni Size, "Modus Operandi" and "Form & Function" by Photek, "Colours" by Adam F, "Bricolage" by Amon Tobin, "Ultra-Obscene" by the Breakbeat Era project (which also features the genius Roni Size), then if you want to move on to something more twisted and contaminated, I would say "Hard Normal Daddy" and "Big Loada" by Squarepusher and "Richard D. James Album" by sir Aphex Twin, but there we really transcend the classic definition of D'n'B. Always here to help :-)

For me, it died with the new millennium; it’s simply a genre that hasn’t managed to reinvent itself since 2000. The peak was clearly between 95/96 and 99. Let’s say one of the last noteworthy albums in the genre is from the Breakbeat Era project, then alas, nothing...

One note: in '98 we were not at the end of the phenomenon, but right in the middle, since DnB is still an evolution of the Jungle of the early '90s. If, however, you mean "the end of the entire trend," then that's fine. Cheers :-)

Oh my gosh, what a sample... But isn’t it part of Metalheadz? Anyway, I’ll get it along with Endemic Void, great find ;-)

For me, it's a nice but still immature album, comparable to the works post-"Autobahn," too derivative and tied to the kraut scene of the time. Nice review :-)
