Well, I also tried to review it with little success. I don't agree when you say that it's not a fundamental album for fully understanding Tom Jenkinson's sound; for me, this remains his best album alongside "Big Loada" (which I reviewed undoubtedly better ;-), far superior to "Go Plastic," which is still a great album. Beautiful.

I didn't listen to it, but for me Frankie remains the one from "La Morte Dei Miracoli," an album I'm attached to and that, among the first, opened the doors to the varied world of double H for me. Ler= but I see you also appreciate the BOOM-CHA, very good! :-))

Crazy and scanty review for music that's equally crazy (definitely not scanty, although it depends on the point of view...). My favorite Autechre albums remain those from the second half of the '90s ("Tri Repetae," the industrial-tinged "Chiastic Slide," the hugely influential "LP5"). Of their more recent, masturbatory and brainy output, I believe "Draft 7.30" represents the perfect synthesis; the latest one is nice but a bit too uneven (and at times a tad boring). That's all! :-))
