N.W.A. Straight Outta Compton

I give it a 4 more for encouragement, but it seems more like a sort of (well-written) summary in 2 lines of the history of Rap rather than a review of an album (for me a milestone of Rap ever, regardless of territorial belonging). It's like summarizing the entire history of Rock up to Grunge by reviewing a Soundgarden album, in short ;-) I bump it down to a 3.

Quite dyslexic this last post, but it doesn't matter :-))

Interesting, I'm starting to download them, then at most I'll look for the original from my trusted record dealer. Enea thinks that tonight I might watch "Vampyros Lesbos" by Jesus Franco with a friend, so you can imagine ;-))

Sunglasses strictly Ray Ban, sideburns and hyper-Seventy mustache ;-) "Easytempo"... I will try to look for them, but what kind of compilation are they? Regards

I don't know what to say, 5 by default ;-) At the moment, though, I definitely prefer QOTSA, especially those from "R" and "Songs For The Deaf"; the latest one, however, leaves me quite perplexed...

In the fourth sample, there's also a bit of affected vocals in the style of Skinny Puppy during the "Too Dark Park" period.

The samples recall more certain extreme things from Pan Sonic's "Kulma" or "Kesto" rather than from Suicide, but given that many of Pan Sonic's tracks remind one of certain aspects of Suicide, the leap is short ;-)

The review has a nice punch but seems a bit excessive; I’ll refrain from rating it. The album is devastating, though at times a bit repetitive; in any case, it's one of the best in their discography, if not the best. Saludos

Qzerty, damn, you’re a full-fledged hi-tech man :-)) I haven’t seen the DVD and can’t comment on it, but the review is a bit too enthusiastic, let’s say (I’m a fan too, by the way). In any case, long live Kraftwerk!
