Manowar The Triumph Of Steel
Voto:
Beautiful cover, there's no denying it.
Dj Spooky Under The Influence
Voto:
Well, it's without a site with a more distinctly Rock and even more Indie footprint, so it's normal that atypical musical choices like yours struggle to assert themselves. But damn, "Under The Influence" by DJ Spooky and "Code 4109" by DJ Krush are the most celebrated sets of recent years; someone must have listened to them :-))

But in fact I also really like "Hung Up" by Madonna; it may be the killer sample from ABBA, but I don't mind it at all ;-))

uoppocop to tell you I also like Maximo Park, who are even part of the Warp Records roster (!!!)
Tricky Pre-Millenium Tension
Voto:
I only have Tricky's masterpiece "Maxinquaye" and the underrated "Juxtapose" with Dame Grease and DJ Muggs, I'll fix that. Nice review, francè ;-)

Nothing transcendent but fun and danceable. I also didn't mind the Kasabian ;-)
Soulwax Any Minute Now

Well, I’ve always found their first album too derivative and "dEUS-style", it never excited me that much. With the 2ManyDjs project and the album in question, however, they have taken on a well-defined personality, for better or worse, I believe. The usual "Rock Vs. Electro" clash seems destined to repeat itself :-))

Shall we talk about "Nite Versions" and the RMX of "Teachers" by Daft Punk then? Style, style, and more style :-))

I saw them as 2ManyDJs at the Link in Bologna. Great set, I think Abe Duque was there too.

Great review, at least one more vote for the album. I can confirm Donz, they're irresistible live. And what can I say about the magnificent video of "NY Excuse"? ;-))
