Killgod don’t remind me, I was supposed to go see him and at the last moment I ended up going to Man In Scratch, Rahzel and JS-1 in Rome :(

For example, "Collecting The Kid" (a collection of bootlegs, b-sides, and unreleased tracks, released last year) seems to add almost nothing to what El-P has produced in previous years. Perhaps in his very recent productions and Def Jux in general, I sense a slight evolution, but they seem incomparable to everything that came out in the years 2001/2002 (see Cannibal Ox, RJD2, Mr. Lif, El-P's solo album, and the first two volumes of Definitive Jux Presents), truly pure gold.

I’m not a fan of emo-reviews, especially when they have the wrong album titles ;-)

Honestly, I can’t understand how much this album by the aforementioned El-Producto can be considered. Taken as a contemporary jazz album, I don’t mind it, but it gives me a strange impression, as if El-P attempted to push himself into a project where even his role wasn’t entirely clear and definable. In any case, it’s a brave album, and at least for that, it deserves appreciation ;-)

I appreciate their pushing the boundaries, but sometimes they really become unbearable for me. However, I didn't mind the first album ;-) Nice and easy, a bit of light in this trashy chaos!
