AA.VV. Trojan Dub Box Set
Voto:
Beautiful, like most of the box sets from Trojan. I also really love the "Rare Grooves" and the two volumes of "Funky Kingston". Real Reggae music from da heart ;-)

Honestly, I haven't listened to it; when it comes to Rap news, I'm a bit out of the loop... However, it has been reviewed positively on Rapmaniacz ;-) In any case, Madlib remains, in my opinion, one of the artists who has contributed the most to renewing the genre in recent years, and I don't think there's any doubt about that. It’s also thanks to the industrial amount of weed consumed daily :-))

Yes, but I think the highlight was Francesco's farewell monologue in his umpteenth copied review. A classic, like Povia's victory at Sanremo :-))

By the way, I remind gentlemen Enea and QZ about the inclusion of the DeMeeting for the Depeche Mode live in Rome. Small problem: it seems that there are already very few tickets available, despite the economic crisis.

The worst insult I've ever heard in my life, Enea, I remember during a year-end school trip in middle school. A boy hit in the face by a soccer ball exclaimed, "Mannaggia a chella grande zompapereta cavalcante cessaiola zucapesc' e'mammeta," surprising me with his fervor and improvisational skills. Cabaret material :-)

As a proud Neapolitan from the South, I confirm Surk! For example: the sublime double meaning of "Mocc' a mammeta."

I liked Grignani, Deasonika, and the Ameba4 from Sugar, all inevitably cut off at the first exalted note, in a festival that I found confusing, poorly organized, and filled with moments of absolute boredom. I don’t know how to define Povia’s victory; do the words SCANDAL and OFFENCE TO MUSIC work? :-)) Anna Tatangelo was unpresentable, Anna Oxa soporific and brave (she reminds me of certain things from Bjork’s latest "Medulla"), the Nomadi were rhetorical and seasoned, Alex Britti and Zero Assoluto were passable, especially during the duet evening, respectively with the great and underrated Max Gazzè and Niccolò Fabi.
Labradford E Luxo So
Voto:
Beautiful open recommendation. Labradford fits into that electronic Post Rock vein like Tortoise, which intrigues me quite a bit; I'll try to listen to the album in question.
Lucio Battisti Il nostro caro angelo
Voto:
I, on the other hand, quite like it a lot.
Gigi D'Alessio Quando la mia vita cambierà

Everything is beautiful, I also recommend watching the magnificent films starring our national Gigi, "Annarè" (1997) and the absolute cult "Cient'Anne" (1999). The final duet with the dying Mario Merola is legendary.
