It's not that I don't like "Dark Side Of The Moon," quite the opposite, but it feels like it has to be regarded as the only masterpiece in the history of music. And for heaven's sake, couldn't someone remember two different albums! :-))

Yes Sampyr, but as a good Neapolitan, I not only leaned towards Callister, but I actually thought he could even win. The problem is that, since il2THEBEAT takes place in Bologna, the home of the PMC and the alleged street life under the porticoes, to win you just need to bring along a large entourage and act like Italian gangsters, and Aban’s passage is a clear proof of that. A great rap artist, in my opinion, isn’t recognized by the number of contests won, but by the quality of their music. Take Kaos, for instance: has he won 1000 contests or none? Honestly, I don't care much; two absolute masterpieces like "Fastidio" and "IIII" are enough for me ;-)

But why is it that in every review where the ratings might be exaggerated, the same purist rocker comment comes out, claiming that "5 stars are reserved for masterpieces like 'Dark Side of the Moon' or 'Selling England by the Pound'? Is there an objective criterion to define a masterpiece? What arrogance, I wouldn’t give 5 stars to either of those, for example :P

Beautiful "Arrhythmia" by Antipop Kill, I also really love the EP "The Ends Against The Middle" and Beans' solo albums (especially the first one "Tomorrow Right Now").

I'm really not that interested in 2THEBEAT (like all those pseudo-contests). I consider it one of the worst events organized in the history of Italian HH for both organization and attendance. And by the way, they're called LE jam, not I jam, dear sexyteen ;-)

It's an album that's easy to find, especially now that FNAC and Feltrinelli are selling almost all the Warp releases at discounted prices. Dig in, people, dig in!

But you have a computer that you connect to for whole days, posting pointless stuff everywhere. Shouldn't you be down in the street with the bros living real life? ;-) Take care.

morningstar, I noticed that it was you who reviewed the immense "Histoire De Melody Nelson," which I was about to mention among the latest welcome recoveries. Keep it up! :-)

Beautiful, I love Jobim and the Latin-Jazz of the '70s. In fact, I’d like to recommend another of his albums which I consider outstanding: "Stone Flower" from 1971, which is easy to find because it has recently been reissued in the "CTI Remastered" series. That's all!

"THE TEST OF NINE IS ON THE ROAD "THESE ARE HISTORICAL PHRASES FOR THOSE LIKE ME.. LIVING A LIFE AT RISK, DRUNK.. HAVING FUN WITH MY CREW" <-- But where do you live, in South Bronx? Say hi to DITC then, and watch out for the shootouts! :-)"
