I clearly remember the collective frenzy for Di Caprio and Titanic between '97 and '98. There wasn't a day that the stereo wouldn't be turned on in class to listen to "My Heart Will Go On" by the nightingale of Quebec. I was a shy 12-year-old listener of Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers, and Prodigy, and I hoped that sooner or later they would want to listen to some other bird :-)

And think, I attended elementary school in a private school similar to a “lager”: it was enough to say a swear word to make the usual puritan explode, who would exclaim, punctual and terrified: OOOOOOH, I'M GOING TO TELL THE TEACHER!
