You can really find the best stuff at the stalls, sfascia. Can you believe it? I even managed to score a Deluxe cardboard version of "Ultra-Obscene" by Breakbeat Era for just 5 euros :-))

I prefer "Push The Button" ;-) Congratulations anyway, odra, you have filled a significant gap in the diverse review landscape of DeB. Hi, Jim, are you back from the erotic tour in Cambodia? :-)

The video for the single had made me smile, at least they show they have a good musical culture :-))

An album that I can't fully digest, probably due to my limitations regarding the genre. I definitely prefer the more recent Electro-Dark influences of "Camera Obscura." Welcome, in any case :-)

The ODP are incredibly charming live, and the frontman Max is fantastic (anyone who calls me a MODERATE NEOSENSITIVIST is bound to win me over :D). The other artists don't really match my preferences, particularly the Bastelle, whom I find quite boring. But tastes are tastes, as they say ;-)

I expected them to be much more crossover and infused with electronics, but they still got to me. A perfect album, a stunning debut for a great band. It's a shame they disappeared so quickly; they could have said so much more... Great review ;-)

From what I've read around, he seems to be a promising artist who passed away prematurely. Usually, death tends to create a sort of mythical aura around the figure being discussed, but in this case, the situation might be different and, if we want, justified. It's all a bit out of my comfort zone (but isn't it?!?), but with a review like this, anyone would be encouraged to listen. Who knows, maybe one day... Great Hal, as always :-)

I also agree with your thoughts on "Ray Of Light"; for me, it remains absolutely the best album by miss Veronica Ciccone. Doing some research online, I notice that another project by William Orbit that could hold some promise is "Pieces In A Modern Style," a work of remixes and reinterpretations of classical music compositions and arias in an Electro-Techno-Trance style.
