Among other things, it seems to me that Tortoise has very little to do with Rock in the canonical sense, and also with the "usual expansions/explosions" that are often discussed. Especially in "TNT," I feel a tremendous deepening of the groovy/rhythmic side, and if I had to define them, with a gun to my head, I would say Neo-Kraut-Electro-Rock. Can you pass me the term? :D

They may not be innovative, but I don't mind them at all. But is it possible that you rockers always have to strive to seek a sonic revolution in every album you listen to? :-))

Yes, I don't mind this instrumental-ambient and electronic variant of Post-Rock at all.. Great suggestion, odra ;-)

The Dreamy Poets! I also vaguely remember the video for the eponymous single, dark and distressing just enough... The album as a whole isn't bad (I listened to it back in the day, right when it came out), but it probably suffers from the excessive inexperience of the four Calabrians, both at the microphone and in production. There was potential, in short, it's a shame they didn't develop it into something more concrete and mature in the following years. The review seems a bit hasty and somewhat greedy for words for an album that isn't exceptional but certainly deserved a more thorough discussion.

Oh my gosh, what a meticulously crafted artwork! I can't understand such ostentatious neglect in some albums from the alternative scene, could it be that the outfit makes the Indie-monaco? Great review in any case, Mr. Sfascia.. Bye :-)

So, what would this "vortex of disks" be? It seems to me that you barely describe one.. ;-)

Great album, although I prefer the previous "First Born," also released by the excellent Rhymesayers. You could have at least mentioned the name of the label "that has a roster of affiliated names that all contribute to making it a part of history," and spent a few more words on an album that is objectively important for the evolution of Rap.. 3 respect, come on ;-)

5 by default to the good pretazzo! Group with an interesting name, even if I'm not familiar with them, maybe I’ll try to check them out.. Hi :-)

Lydia Lunch, Cop Shoot Cop, Pussy Galore?? :-O I don’t know if the names included in the compilation will entice me too much to listen, but it doesn’t hurt to try.. Great choice, in any case, QZ ;-)
