Kool Keith, then, is not Keith Flint; he's the rapper and former leader of the Ultramagnetic MC's, who have been sampled by The Prodigy on several occasions, including in "Smack My Bitch Up" (the vocal sample is taken straight from a piece of their "Critical Breakdown," literally plundered by Liam Howlett).

There’s really very little angry Techno, in fact, it seems to me like a work much closer to Breakbeat, and much more "polished" compared to the previous ones...

They don't seem that bad to me, on the contrary.. I quite like the various singles, along with their respective videos, and the same goes for the album..

I believe that the beauty of soundtracks, on the contrary, lies precisely in what is often criticized: being able to synthesize the mood and atmosphere of various films (Giallo, Noir, Horror-Thriller, etc.) so well that they can be listened to and "felt" without the need to actually watch the movie itself.

I do not agree with the soundtrack-film pairing. Many soundtracks by masters like Piccioni, Micalizzi, Umiliani, Bacalov, and the same maestro Morricone, effortlessly ranging between majestic orchestrations, Funk rhythms, and cultured Jazz atmospheres, manage to be listened to very well, even if detached from the "on-screen" support.

Simply the "manifesto" of one of the most underrated and capable Italian bands of all time.. In 2005, an incredibly interesting tribute book dedicated to the group was also released, "Goblin: La Musica, La Paura, Il Fenomeno," written by Giovanni Aloisio, and published by the small publishing house Un Mondo A Parte.. It took a few years of waiting, but thanks to sampling and the cult of the 70s, people are slowly starting to appreciate them.. Well done Bisius!! :-)

It doesn't feel like a demo, and indeed it isn't.. ;-) One of the best things to come out of Fabri Fibra and assorted "Teste Mobili"..

You can also give a listen to Godflesh and Jesu at this point...

The Techno Animal, however, have little to do with Grindcore and "extreme" Metal sounds.. ;-)

The more ethereal Orbs wrestling with the more visionary Kraftwerk? What a colorful description...
