Anyway, the scene in the cinema is not a critique of German expressionism or that type of cinema, but rather of the intellectuals who impose their own vision and who, with their snobbish and superior behavior, corrupt and drive people away from art...

I downloaded it right after reading this review (thanks for reminding me :D) but I have to listen to it tomorrow when I have a bit of time. I hope I like it. On the other hand, I bought the limited edition CD/DVD of Lullabies to Paralyze and I didn't really like it. Let's hope this one is better...

On the clear change in style, it was to be expected after bringing in members from A Perfect Circle and Racounteurs... Probably the good Josh Homme realized that the old formula was starting to lose its effectiveness, and he tried to "refresh" the band's sound a bit... Did he succeed? Judging by the comments and opinions, it seems not... ;-)
