Too much cocaine and not enough acid. That's why they're not the same as they used to be!

Woody Allen Scoop

I completely agree with the Hal-thought... It’s a film that makes Woody Allen fans happy, precisely because it includes, for better or worse, all those elements that have made his filmmaking famous... For non-fans and more "impartial" viewers, I believe the discussion changes, especially for those, like me (I won't hide it), who don't automatically consider everything that Woody Allen produces year after year as pure gold... :-))

Well, "Push The Button" actually seemed to me like the peak of their career.... Thankfully, two years ago they released only a few tracks from their latest work! ;-)) I haven't listened to the new album, and I don't know if I will.... I like to think of the Chemical Brothers as the ones from "Dig Your Own Hole," especially ten years after its release.... Will it still sound good in thirty? :D

Among other things, the plot relies too heavily on Woody Allen's lines, and on the presence (especially decorative) of Scarlett Johansson... A building without foundations, indeed...

...It seemed a bit "empty" to me... With the previous "Match Point," there was at least a breath of fresh air, but with this one, we returned to the usual blend of neuroses, jokes, and worn-out clichés... One note: Woody Allen seems to express himself better when he can keep his ego in check, especially when he doesn't appear as an actor and stays behind the camera...

Even Massive Attack, who lose pieces along the way (even if "Mezzanine" remains one of my all-time favorite albums)... There's little to be done; Portishead remain a step above everyone else, in terms of honesty and quality of music... Even if they may never release anything new (something I find more than likely, alas), those two albums will remain, sounding relevant even in 30 years... The power of so-called "milestones"...
Filippo Bisciglia Sto Parlando Con Me

After Steven Seagal, Filippo Bisciglia... This is yet another proof that anyone can really record a record these days... When will we have one from Davide Mengacci?

I didn't listen to him.... Beyond everything, it seems to me that good old Tricky has long lost his way, lost among all kinds of experimentation, just to shake off the label of "Trip-Hop artist"... Aren't the Portishead more dignified, who, with two stunning albums that are still incredibly relevant today, seem to be the ones who have genuinely distanced themselves from the trend of the time?

If we had had him in the White House, we would have had a different world... Maybe...
