One of my favorite albums in the extensive discography of Pink Floyd... Experimental and daring, deserving of reassessment, as the review also mentions... I don't agree when you talk about an album faithful to the song form; it seems to me a record much less "Pop" than "Dark Side Of The Moon"....

Yes, the first two albums are out of this world, I completely agree... It's just that "Surrender" didn't seem that historic to me; in fact, apart from two or three great tracks, I've never found anything particularly relevant... The subsequent "Come With Us" did a better job of modernizing things, before the (sadly) notorious epilogue... Live, they are truly extraordinary; I saw them two years ago in Bologna and I remember their show as one of the most beautiful I've ever attended, a real journey/performance, to be experienced firsthand...
