A genre that I just can't swallow, sorry, aside from a few minor exceptions...

I actually liked "that insult to the viewer"... I humbly apologize to the various Morandinis and armchair film critics, who surely know more than I do... ;-)

The best of the "trilogy"... I was crazy about it when I was little, I still like it a lot now... :D

A note: one could at least spend a word on the wonderful soundtrack, a captivating dive into the deepest and coolest black music of the 70s: there's also "I Want You" by Marvin Gaye... Jarmusch is a director who pays almost obsessive attention to the musical background of his films, as evidenced by the previous "Dead Man" and "Ghost Dog - The Way Of The Samurai"...

I really liked the movie, not so much the review...

@Mr. sfasciacarrozze: I'm happy to quote them! However, Pankow have been a bit inconsistent in their career... The purchase (or download) of the compilation you wisely pointed out is definitely recommended... I'll take this opportunity to mention another name: Coil, especially the ones from "Horse Rotorvator"... Keep diggin', guys!

Electronic Body Music... It's a more extreme variant of Electro-Pop, influenced by dark and industrial sounds, and by cyberpunk aesthetics... The best "Electronic Body Music" records can be found between the late 80s and the first half of the 90s... Some likely names: Skinny Puppy, Clock DVA, Front 242, Front Line Assembly, and Suicide Commando...
