Michael Moore Sicko

I saw it last month... I found it a bit too soaked in sentimentality and rhetoric, although it has the merit of telling an "ugly truth"... I basically agree with Pun’s rating... ;-)

Considering that many are very different from each other, and others are known to an audience of enthusiasts and/or industry professionals...

For a good cause! :-) When you talk about Ludovic Navarre aka St Germain as the initiator of "French Touch," I don't completely agree with you: it seems to me that St Germain, rather than starting the French Touch, actually initiated the Jazz-House phenomenon, which would have many followers in the subsequent years, with the spread of the Nu-Jazz trend (Bugge Wesseltoft, Ludovic Llorca, etc...)... He seems much closer to that kind of club music than to the various Daft Punk, Cassius, Dimitri From Paris, and the like... ;-)

Billy Cobham A Funky Thide Of Sings

Picked up a few days ago, in the vinyl version from Atlantic Records... I reaffirm the score I gave in the past, the funkiest and "gritty" record of Mr. Cobham, beautiful and danceable...
