I like his later albums (late '60s/early '70s) much more, "Four Elements" above all....

Nice one! Scary video indeed, they really know what they're doing. The only downside is that they’re generally not very accessible, especially when it comes to accompaniment, unusable for dancing, even while high. <-- Listen to "Tri Repetae" while high and see how you dance... ;-)

The electronic influence here is quite evident, in any case... "Daybreaker" seems to me more oriented towards acoustic sounds, while in "Central Reservation" the presence of the digital (I don't like the term synthetic) is more than visible (and audible, of course)...

His most beautiful album...

In my opinion, after "Deloused In The Comatorium," they somewhat lost their way...

At first listen, it didn't seem bad, but upon re-listening, you can't help but notice its flaws... Arrangements that are sometimes too sparse, sometimes overly baroque and mannered, a few tracks that don't go anywhere... The times of "Dig Your Own Hole" feel truly distant...

Beautiful arrangements, even though they are mostly covers... I adore "Hyperbolicsyllabsesquedalymistic" (I think it's the only track that isn't a cover), also sampled by DJ Muggs from Cypress Hill on Soul Assassins... God bless The Duke!!
