Well, I don't agree with the elitism of dubstep; it's a genre that has various declinations (some more abstract and mental, but others definitely for the club) and I think it will remain one of the most relevant phenomena of the last decade, along with breakcore and the evolution of drum&bass (the various Pendulum, Concord Dawn, Upbeats, Evol Intent, etc.). Another interesting album is Underwater Dancehall by Pinch, especially the instrumental version.

@Gab: yes, I found it rhythmically complex precisely for that reason, in some parts it manages to blend the straight kick of techno with the slowed-down beat of dubstep. Very interesting. @Giorgio: I saw Benga in a DJ set in September, but he left after half an hour because the sound system was truly awful!
