As for the comparison with "Confessions...", we more or less agree. In "Confessions...", Stuart Price's production revives the disco sounds of the past and places them in a contemporary context, adapting them to electro-house and club culture. In fact, that's a solid 5-star masterpiece, at least for me. I didn't quite grasp the philological discourse: Gaga and her producers make numerous references in this project, both aesthetic and musical. Even referencing Madonna's "Vogue" or "Confessions..." can be considered philology: they are classics by now.

Little kids who know Jodorowsky, Paradžanov, the Matrix saga and cyberpunk, the house of Masters At Work and Armand Van Helden, drum and bass, Elton John, and Madonna's "Vogue." Undoubtedly a great generation, don’t you think? ;-)

@sfascia: he has made at least three or four pointless albums after the excellent debut. Here, in my opinion, he returns to the levels of "The Fame," perhaps surpassing himself.

A beautiful story, and anyone who quotes "Jurassic Park" with me wins easy.
PS: you were about to write "listen to a jerk," weren’t you? Tell the truth.

I listened to it just today. It's definitely a well-produced and well-sung pop album; however, I struggled to find not only a standout track, but also any real compositional variety (as you yourself mentioned, the songs seem to be made with a cookie-cutter approach). She's certainly a beautiful girl, that’s undeniable, but she doesn't strike me as having a strong artistic personality. This album confirms that.
