I don't doubt the beauty of our music, but it seems to me a mediocre and frenzied mix of plagiarisms, seamlessly transitioning from the Eighties to Lady Gaga, passing through Christina Aguilera, Korn, and Aaliyah. There is TOO MUCH of what’s already been heard and really LITTLE originality (the sudden shifts from pop to metal, rather than being brilliant, end up being annoying or out of place after a while). I don’t know how this EP is, I hope better.
PS: And anyway, before Britney and company, pop wasn't so plastic. I think of the first two albums by George Michael, Prince, Kate Bush, the lyrics of Madonna and Cindy Lauper. Even the Village People were irreverent. In short, let’s not exaggerate. Maybe now it’s just "cool" to talk about these topics and the record companies are cashing in on it. In this case, I have to say, with disappointing results.

It doesn't mean "discretion," "secrecy"? But maybe it's the same, who cares.

Dude, the discography of Pink Floyd means nothing to these people.

I listened to it. I don't doubt the sound, but the impression is that of an artist who still needs to find their own dimension. There are some nice moments, interspersed with others that are boring or forgettable. I wouldn't go beyond 3 stars.

I listened to "Inner Song" and it feels like reheated soup, even a bit boring. I hope to change my mind with the debut.

Holy Madonna, is it a review or the Codex Gigas? 😐

It reminded me of Matthew Herbert, but it draws from other contexts as well, making everything relevant. It’s a great album, I really liked it a lot.
