Gotan Project Lunático
Voto:
Partly a reheated soup. The featuring of Calexico and the rap inserts are interesting, but it remains a sufficient album, or just a little more.
PS: almost all covers and tracks where they limit themselves to programming two drums to add to some instruments. Where would the genius of this group be? 🤔
Gotan Project La Revancha del Tango

Widely overrated. Three and a half stars will do.
Peter Weir L'Attimo Fuggente

A dramatic drop of balls. At least that's how I remember it.
Michelangelo Antonioni DESERTO ROSSO

Antonioni gets on my nerves.

I don't know, I'll try to listen to the album you consider their best. Well-written review.
Anton Pavlovič Čechov Il Giardino dei Ciliegi

I swear, I'm using it (an old Mondadori edition) as a "stand" for my notebook. I'll put it to better use: I'll reread it.

More than the sea and beach umbrellas, it seems like you want the Great Wall of China 😃 jokes aside, it seems to me like a somewhat boring operation like that of the Khruangbin, which I don’t love. And also pretty cheesy.

I understand your feelings; I’ve felt them very close. And if the album makes you "travel," that’s even better.

I admit my ignorance on the subject (but I love the first Polanski). I will gladly catch up.

I remember them looking good, then I lost sight of them. Anyway, I would defend their debut, which I appreciate for its immediacy and grunge sound (the production by Giorgio Canali is key), though I care less for the lyrics, which still manage to be suspended and evocative.
PS: I saw them live a few years ago and it made me sad. Must be the years passing...
