A definitely welcome return. Our artist tries to give himself a refresh, calls in the coolest producers of the moment, throws in some modern beats, internal rhymes, and many nice touches. He succeeds for the most part, although at times his flow feels dated, monotonous, and wooden. Too bad about some unnecessary filler, but overall it's still an album worth promoting.

A review that goes beyond the review and transforms into an essay on the evanescent Scottish duo. Excellent, by circling around, you've captured the essence of their musical quest. I remember the album as great yet a bit raw, a prelude to the subsequent excellence.
