In the preface, is he referring to himself? I've never listened to Vasco Rossi and, apart from a couple of songs, I don't think I can stand his mumblings with an Emilian accent for more than a few seconds. I have the impression, as @[DeBaserBot] says, that you could use your energy to suggest more interesting things.

I know a few albums... old, indeed. They were seriously awesome.

And how would the Italian distributors have adapted it? I would have turned it into "Cappone": the farmers of the Po Valley-Venetian plain would have appreciated it.

Thank you, but I prefer Damiano from Måneskin.
Jovanotti Lorenzo 1992

Let's say that in 1992 there were Public Enemy in the USA (already on their way out) and in Italy there were people like Speaker Dee Mo', Frankie Hi-Nrg, and Isola Posse All Stars. Jovanotti was a product of Cecchetto, a character carefully crafted to try and spread rap in Italy, and he had nothing to do with the real hip-hop scene of the time.

Nice review. As for the music, we are billions of light years away from my musical preferences. As they say in these cases: "Spiaze". casi:

Another excellent recommendation from Magister @[Confaloni]. Congratulations on the comparison with that subhuman caveman Trump: the portrait of the president seems like him.
