Another character to keep an eye on. I need to catch up on some hip-hop that has come out in recent years; I think I'll start right with him.

Concise and "straight to the point." I think I saw the album mentioned among the new releases, maybe I'll give it a listen. Well done.
P.S.: This is unrelated, but have you listened to "VESUVIA" by Meg? I really liked it.

A complex review (especially lexically) for an equally complex album, I guess. I have to say that after a while the "droning pools" cause a slight swelling there, in the scrotal area, but I admit that certain music based on loops and repetitions captures my attention. I'll try to give it a listen.

Your reviews, dear Greencount, always seem to me like riddles or puzzles to interpret. I haven't understood much, I admit, but I must say that somehow you manage to draw the reader into this somewhat hallucinatory vortex. As for the album, I don't think it's my cup of berry-infused tea. Good for you.

Apart from the works from that period, of which unfortunately I can't save even all, he's an artist who hasn't managed to renew himself and keep up with the times, thus ending up in oblivion. Others from the West Coast have made it, Dr. Dre foremost, who with "2001" delivered another solid album and updated, if not revolutionized, the sound of hip-hop coming from those parts. If I’ve been unfair to him, I'm sorry; more than anything, I wanted to dust him off and pay tribute, but I realize that eulogies aren't my strong suit and the old annoying nerd always comes out. Oh well.

First of all, welcome. The review is, all in all, "fair enough," but it's a bit too much of a fan perspective for my taste; the track-by-track analysis ends up weighing down the reading, but this, like the first, is just my opinion. As for Manuel AgnellO, unfortunately, we are dealing with a character that I reluctantly tolerate, both personally and musically, so I doubt I will listen to the album 😅 It's still a review of something new, and for that reason, it deserves the 5 stars.

It seems like a bold album, driven by an intriguing concept on paper, but in my opinion, it's too long and difficult to enjoy. The "non language" device also bored me after a few tracks (it keeps repeating the same words), as if it were a gimmick to cover some shortcomings in the lyrics. Musically, it's interesting, but after an hour, I was shouting enough. In my view, a bit of humility is always necessary, even when experimenting: Battiato knew this, and not by coincidence, his beautiful experimental works from the Seventies, "Pollution" above all, last half an hour or a little more.
