The problem is that verbs don't want the apostrophe more than anything else .......... :) and "All About My Mother" is A MASTERPIECE OF CONTEMPORARY CINEMA, NO DEBATE, REFERENCES TO BETTE DAVIS, ("All about Eve"), you don’t need to be a cinephile, it’s only necessary to understand the screenplay, the references. The play they're staging, in the film "A Streetcar Named Desire," is transported into the movie; Almodóvar inverts the characters' traits and it becomes "theater in cinematography"; the part played by the drugged girl Stella is actually a mistreated woman, but she is the one who ultimately saves herself; Blanche - who is Stella's sister - (in Tennessee Williams' play) is actually crazy (she likes younger boys, and ends up in trouble because of that, by trouble I mean a mental institution... while in the film she likes younger girls), whereas in the film she is a strong woman trying to save Stella... so many things to understand and connect... and perhaps - indeed I would consider it almost a duty - to watch them multiple times to catch all the nuances... and "VOLVER" too.... bye
