If all he remembers about that concert is that there were five of them on stage, he could have easily chosen a live performance by the Cugginidigambagna; it would have been the same thing. The Italian metal bands of that time remind me so much of the tacky Germans from Bavaria, but I won’t judge or investigate his musical tastes; I’ve already figured those out a long time ago!

Surely among my top three favorite albums by Coil. You have perfectly described the mood of this absolute masterpiece. It was obviously impossible for me to get my hands on one of the 99 copies of the initial edition, but I consoled myself with a limited reissue of 500 copies with audio taken from the original master and signatures from Sleazy and John.
