I broadly echo the common sentiment in the comments. Spiderland is a perpetual glow that overshadows everything else. Honest and pleasant work, but ten galaxies away from the aforementioned masterpiece. Beautiful Cosmic.

Delightfully entertaining read, I also remembered that I need to change/modifiy the pickups on my Gibson. I almost forgot, does it also talk about me?!

Great suggestion, I’ll give it a listen. Among other things (and there are a lot of things written here!), I read that he collaborated with Boyd Rice and I wondered if he was a sympathizer of mustaches and swastikas (even though I like Rice's music)?

I still remember the shock I felt when I listened to 'People Are Like Seasons' back in 2004, one of those albums that helped me make sense of the musical '00s, along with 'Turn On The Bright Lights' by Interpol and a few others... Beautiful ZOT, concise and essential as it should be, yet full of empathy and passion that could fill a thousand pages.

One of my favorites from Miyazaki (as well as Studio Ghibli) along with 'Howl's Moving Castle' and 'Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea'.
