It is astonishing to think that a man with a mild and good-natured appearance, an antidiva like Paoli, led a life of excesses like any Jim Morrison (two arrests for sleeping in the station, among other things). But the human soul is a mystery, that of the artist even more so, and Paoli was an artist in every sense during a fascinating time for Italian music and for Genoa in particular. A beautiful page, written with passion and enthusiasm.

Discovered the album late, about twenty years after its release, but as we know, YouTube in the eighties was the specialized magazine of the field, and your friends who would duplicate this or that new cassette for you. That said, I appreciated and loved them from the very first listen. Such a great page.

I'm intolerant of tribute albums. I love tributes in the live shows I attend, but finding them on an album? No, I can't stand it. "Rock is dead" was coined by a charlatan to fuel and bolster the genre. Nice writing.

It's true and I love them both. I've frequented Arnold's throughout my childhood, accessing it through the cathode ray tube of my Mivar, and I've left a piece of my heart on the little tables of Al Delvecchio as well. Thank you so much.

This album is an important piece of my adolescence; I've connected so many moments of my life to it. But don’t think they are extraordinary; they are simple moments, ordinary life, because simplicity and ordinariness are the aspects of existence that attract me the most. How much I would give to live just one day with that carefree spirit, a single day from 1988, when the world seemed like a fantastic container of possibilities and my father was standing strong and healthy. Thank you, my friend!

But if she lives in such a perfect world, why has she never hooked up with Ken?!

Heard a few weeks ago, it left me a bit perplexed but I will listen to it again because I have the impression it belongs to that kind of work that reveals itself gradually. Beautiful page!

I’m a huge fan of the Reid brothers; my first profile picture, which someone will surely remember, was the cover of Darklands, a record I love immensely and I prefer to Psychocandy. After Automatic, I could no longer decipher their evolutions, but who knows, maybe it’s time to dust them off for a new chance.

I could almost approach this job, at least there's the industrial aspect that intrigues me!

Where do you go to dig up these records? Who knows, I’ll never find out; I’m just content to discover fascinating works and artists from time to time, enriched by the fantastic readings you offer.
