I knew about the controversy he faced, along with Venditti, for the 'sentimental' turn at the expense of political commitment, but deliberately making an album without too many embellishments and arrangements with the intention of punishing himself for Rimmel seems absurd to me! They seemed like notes for a splatter film! That said, this guy looks like a serial faker: how can you reconcile Marley and the Ramones, but mainly how do you write songs starting from the titles, especially if the titles are these?! Great read, it could have appeared in an episode of Tales from the Crypt and instead you wrote it!

I’m tempted; I love books that shine a light on little-known areas of the globe, and the American countryside, oddly enough, is not at all the America we all know but rather an impenetrable universe full of legacies that are too tough to scratch the surface of. In short, as well-known as it is unknown, it is masterfully described in Motel Chronicles by Sam Shepard, which I discovered thanks to the album of the same name by Emidio Clementi, who gives it a personal and brilliant musical literature that reinterprets it. A beautiful and interesting proposal!
