In its own way, a piece of history. Needless to say, at the time I mistakenly considered it the usual run-of-the-mill Italian comedy. Watched for the first time about ten years ago on a local channel, it entertained me a lot and left me with great feelings.

Among my all-time favorite films. A shoutout to Delon's outstanding performance and the cinematography; the scene at the Rimini pier shrouded in fog is firmly etched in my mind.

The quote, if I'm not mistaken, is by Coltrane. Those names are renowned for anyone who embraces jazz; they are individuals who have written the history of music. To understand this, I invite you to do one thing: take a good number of essential albums in the genre, like Kind of Blue by Miles Davis, Time Out by the Dave Brubeck Quartet, Speak No Evil by Wayne Shorter, Blue Train by John Coltrane, and so on, and check out the musicians involved. You'll notice that almost always the same names appear. These are the elite of jazz, the ones who transform a good product into a masterpiece, and they stand in the shadows of various Coltrane, Shorter, Monk, etc. Elvin Jones and Richard Davis are two of these. Thank you, Fiamma!

A round of applause for your Carrollian writing, which I always adore, and for this album that I didn't know but now holds a top place in my listening, and wow does it smell of the '70s.

The plot seems truly interesting, but so do your anecdotes!
