It’s understandable that a remake alters key points, but in this case - according to your words since I haven't seen the film - it seems to trivialize them and make them simply more digestible for a Western audience...

The film isn't bad, but (as you pointed out in the comment above) it disturbs (which is a good thing) in a more "totalizing" way...

WARNING MINI-MEDIUM SPOILER:

the figure of the villain in this film (considering the reasons behind their actions) I tend to associate with a certain interpretation of that "banality of evil" from Arendt's memory...

Yours, however, is an excellent debut...
