I disagree @[algol].. it’s Buzz's way of talking to us about the records he listens to.. he certainly shares his impressions, but hidden within are also "analytical" coordinates.. I believe that reducing it all to a mere exercise in style is quite limiting.. it’s understandable that it might not appeal to everyone, but personally, I find this way of discussing records very intriguing.. it seems to me that I understand why Buzz reviews this way, and indeed my own approach is closely related..

The problem with the album (which at times is also excellent) is that it has a truly outstanding predecessor and, I would say, unfairly invites comparisons to that one.. in short, for me "In the Skies" : "end of the game" = Jeff (Buckley) : Tim (Buckley)
