I am 54 years old and slowly see my adolescence fading away, and things like Van Morrison's records are a big problem. Because some things are better left to go their own way and if adolescence ends, so be it; life goes on in adulthood. But certain records get in the way of such transformations. This happens under two conditions: that they have kept you company for years, even decades, and that they are truly but TRULY beautiful. Van Morrison fully fits into this category.

And well, I don't care. My passion for Van Morrison will carry over into the mature season of my life, which may begin in the coming years. Maybe.

Funny? How would "funny" be? Because of how I talk, or what? Funny how? What do you find funny? No wait, wait, you're getting older Mayham, you know what you're saying, "funny" how? How? No explain to me, because maybe it's my fault, maybe I'm a little out of it, "funny" how, funny like a clown, do I amuse you? Do I make you laugh, am I here to entertain you? What do you mean "funny", "funny" how, why "funny"? No no, I don't understand, you said it, you must know right? You said I'm funny, but how am I funny? What the hell do you find in me that’s funny, tell me! Tell me, what's funny?

the enormous charm of this page, which speaks of Filodiffusione in carpeted hotels, of Stereonotte, a service with an aplomb from another time, of perfect broadcasts spread around the world on short waves, of interesting and glorious musicians, of an opera I don't know and about which I can't say anything (Hope says it all already, and you can trust it, given how he writes) but above all of the radio and the night. HOPELESS in great form.

It's still raining here in Turin, thief government.
I don't know them, but in your flawless review, there are comparisons to artists I love very much, so I will make sure to look for this album.

I can't understand how I could have missed an album like this. It's crazy. I've never even heard it mentioned before. Let's keep this under wraps, please.

Dream Theater have been incredibly important to me. They represent the archetype of musical ugliness, everything that rock should not be. And if they have been the forerunners of prog metal, they belong to the same parish. In any case, I adore the prepared and elegant style of my fellow townsman Falloppio, known as Cicerchia, to whom I have rarely given less than 5 balls.

I arrive with 8 years of delay to listen to this album and read this old beautiful review.
Who still listens to music like this in 2019?
Me.

It seems to me just a prelude to the review.
I haven't listened to the latest album by "one of the heroes of my youth," as Gabs rightly says, and I'm in no hurry.
From Gabs' piece, I understand that Iggy is venturing into something new, but it’s not clear what that is.
A good prelude to a review that doesn’t exist. As if to say: I'm warning you about what to expect, but then you write the review. Well, all in all, it's not a bad idea.
