Some of his paintings are shocking, the storm series for example. I was fortunate enough to see many works at the National Gallery and you willingly stay there admiring them. A full-fledged pre-impressionist, I believe that Monet owes him a lot.

In summary: I discovered that Led Zeppelin are worth nothing and especially do not evoke the blues... it's a miracle I didn't fall off my chair.

We are beyond the understanding of these musical phenomena, particularly because we are not young. Who knows if these nice discussions were held every time a musical genre died to make way for new ones, incomprehensible to us old folks. Interesting conclusion.

With this lovely review, you intrigued me and I listened to them; I didn't even know them by name... I did well.

In general, I respect those who, without fear, show disgust towards scraping the bottom of the barrel. However, the prickly pears are still good.

Yes, well done.. the first time I heard Highway Tune I was blown away! I really hope this debut is just a starting point.. since for now I find this "cover band" a bit impressive. They wouldn't be the first to have started this way..

Was this review written in 2001? Then the author of the review probably didn't have time to digest certain sounds before writing... the album was not an easy listen for me at first, not everything at least. It certainly differs from Moon Safari (which is much more accessible), and I agree that after taking such risks in this phase, they probably decided to play it safe to avoid upsetting fans who despise this work just like non-fans do (see this review)... Years later, and after numerous listens (since 2003!), I find it to be stunning and very ahead of its time for 2001. I hope that someone will eventually do justice to this album with another review. P.S. Besides Pink Floyd, I hear the influence of Morricone.
