I say this sincerely, their debut album in its genre had really impressed me, and quite a lot at that. However, I gradually started to like them less, as they became an anonymous band like so many others. Nevertheless, this record, while not blowing my mind, I appreciated, despite my dislike for cover albums.

Review too biased, in my opinion this isn’t even the last good album that U2 made, the last one was The Unforgettable Fire, after that they opened their asses to the God of Money (look, what a rhyme!). Other than 2 songs that I don’t even remember which ones they are, I use the rest to wipe my ass.

People still haven't understood that Mastodon are part of that circle of bands called "unclassifiable," and that every album of theirs is ALWAYS something new, something that never repeats itself compared to the previous one and even the one before that. I wasn't particularly struck by this either, but I'll give it a 5 anyway! :D

I had already read all the reviews of this album here on DeBaser in the past, this new one doesn't really say anything new, so, if I may say, it's an unnecessary duplicate. The album, on the other hand, is a blast, it will lead, along with the debut of RATM, to the birth of nu-metal.
