Saw it last night. Really loved it. The splatter scenes were as exaggerated as they were entertaining. Excellent. The review, on the other hand, I'm sorry to say, is impossible to read.

Overall, I liked the trilogy, but I don't think at all that the films can be considered masterpieces. So, I give an affectionate 3. And, of course, I haven't read the books, as I'm not a fan of the genre (except for a few exceptions).

If you check out his channel, specifically his second-to-last video, you'll find in the descriptions that he (minogue83) did 10 auditions over 4 years to get into the Big Brother house! I had the wrong impression of him :D
