Oh my gosh! The announcement this morning hit me really hard!
I don't know... I'm sad. I didn't see it coming.
How many wonderful artists are leaving us? How true is it that a new generation of artists who will impact society so profoundly has not yet been born?

Well done!
I enjoy reading your comments about the albums. You have a personal style that builds loyalty :D

Modification to the review: «.». See the old version link rotto

No, it's not about age. But write the little story of the album with references (sometimes completely irrelevant) without going too deep... If you're a musician, the technical aspects would also be interesting to read (there are examples of very technical reviews here that I sometimes find interesting). Without going technical, I also enjoy reading more personal takes (if written well) that may not be 100% relevant to the album but give a sense of it.

Let's leave the "history of music" to Scaruffi (I'm not mocking him; I consider him a relevant writer... and he has a well-defined perspective).

You keep reviewing interesting stuff, but in a Wikipedia-like manner without sources. The impression I get while reading you is that you've been listening to this "stuff" for a short time and that you rush to review your new find after just a few listens. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

All alone at the movies watching this stuff for your birthday? Solidarity, brother :''(

Curious, I gave the link a listen. I was expecting something grind, but it reminded me of Morbid Angel :D

The first album of theirs that I listened to... for me it's beautiful (in their absolute lack of perfection)!

You review interesting records but it seems like you write because you're obligated... come on, we don't need Wikipedia pages. Try to write something that goes beyond this citationism.

you write really well about Barrett, good job!
I’m laying bare my ignorance by asking you who these three guys are

right Uncle Robyn?... right Uncle John?... right Uncle Julian?

I'm sorry... but I have to give you a zero. Duane Danison the drummer????? (besides, if I remember correctly, there's just a drum machine here and nothing else)
