Until 1995 with "Happy Birthday Alvise," the venerator of (m)correggio placed some decent discs, above all "Survivors and Survivors." And honestly, I'm not one to renounce albums I appreciated in my pubescent youth of the '90s. This was actually some sort of amorphous creature poorly conceived, and I remember it went quite unnoticed.

The only eighties album by Airon that makes me quite excited.

For a proper viewing experience: stock up on food, a catheter, and a pack of cigarettes, lock yourself in a soundproof room, and for almost 10 hours straight, start the programming. About 1/3 into the first episode, you'll suddenly remember that you have a bottle of cognac in the nightstand. By the end of the 3 bricks and the bottle, you will be soaked under your armpits, on your scrotum, on your perineum, and in your sphincter, you will have developed sores on your back and buttocks, you will smell like a rutting mouflon, and you'll realize you've gorged yourself on Estathé, but you will still be drunk.

Excellent review, but quite redundant. I watched the film in the cinema at the time. I remember bits of the plot, but what definitely stuck in my mind was the nebulous, spectral, and at times Gothic setting of that imperial London at the turn of the century. Deep as always, up to the task.

They play really excellently. I saw them live, I believe it was June of last year. They performed almost all the songs from this album. And speaking of Dalla, whom they mentioned for his "sympathy" towards them and for that collaboration on "Cromatica," that night they honored him with their intense version of "L'ultima luna."
