I don't remember anything about this gritistiz. But the release year (1993) and the absence of "Emozioni" or tracks from before 1971 are more than justified. Battisti was under contract with Ricordi until 1971, and from that year he began his adventure with Numero Uno, which was later acquired by RCA in '74. RCA itself was acquired by BGM in the '80s, while Ricordi was sold only during the '90s. As a result, up until that period, separate compilations were released, those from the "Ricordi" period (1966-71) and those from the "Numero Uno-RCA" period (1971-80). Once BGM acquired both labels, they were able to merge everything with various "Pensieri emozioni" or "Le avventure di Battisti-Mogol."

An essential work that, after 36 years, still resonates with an intoxicating freshness.
