Oh, Lord! I'm going to drink a silo of Stock 84. Maybe as a drunk I can listen to it without realizing it.

The laws of physics are turned upside down and I feel a shiver down my spine. It's the diarrhea rising.

I correct the review score. I was hasty! 5 for the sarcasm.

One of the architects of the cultural-musical collapse in our country!

I have LP on the shelf. The only thing I've always wondered is, why in that distant 1979 didn't they dare to release a double album of at least 16-18 songs? They had the credentials to do so; their discography was already filled with great hits, not to mention the ones already present, of course... Rimmel, L'anno che verrà, Com'è profondo il mare, Generale, Anna e Marco... Such a shame.

I also consider it the best of the three. Objectively, I would give it a 4.5, but I’m not ashamed to give it an extra half point, especially for the meticulous studio adaptation of an intelligent theatrical work. Even the great Gaber never did it. Excellent sounds that begin to outline the musical journey of his production for the next 7-8 years. "Nuvolari" and "Mille miglia" are essential.

The album musically exudes all the energy of the late '70s. It's my favorite after "Com'è profondo il mare." I believe it stayed in the charts for about two years; it was still there when the next "Dalla" was released in the fall of '80, considering it came out in early '79. Exceptional! I'd like to point out that the song "Cosa sarà," which De Gregori (whom I consider another giant) only interpreted, has lyrics by Dalla and music by Ron, and to claim that just that song elevates the value of such an extraordinary work is a significant lack of objectivity. However, reading opinions on other albums by the integralist in question, I believe he would give 5 stars to a De Gregori album consisting solely of burps.

The forefather of the brilliant triptych with Roversi. A crepuscular, reflective album and for this reason, not very vulgar. When I listen to it, I imagine misty industrial suburbs, surrounded by unkempt rural landscapes in late autumn. Musically, a Dalla who is ambitious and experimental, offering a more polished product than previous ones. Nice review, I liked it a lot, but it risks in some passages being somewhat inaccessible to the average Italian, an audience of the hammering mediocrity that fills the radio stations and who would like to try to approach the album. The proselytism of these little authorial gems should be done with somewhat simpler language.

40 years of De André's thought are encapsulated here, like an alchemy that blends his entire discography and unfolds it through these 9 precious diamonds. There is social discomfort, there is the pride of identity, there is melancholy solitude, there is his Genoa and the sea, there is love as a universal concept, and there is the perpetual and utopian desire for hope. As for the musical section, it is a complete and comprehensive album, and the fellow countryman Fossati offers a prestigious contribution, where everything harmoniously combines once again to present us with the final masterpiece. "Anime Salve," by a twist of fate, is considered by many to be his testament, as he would pass away a couple of years later.
