I haven't listened to it yet (I'll do it soon), but I'm moderately hopeful. For heaven's sake, I don't expect it to be a masterpiece, but Portnoy's departure can only have benefited the band. It's been years since they've given us terrible albums; I hope something has changed. Of course, if this one is terrible too, I won't tear my hair out; on the contrary...

Really great album, seriously. One of those many Italian bands that deserved more luck. They left us this record, which is a gem, and along with other albums from that era (Biglietto per l'Inferno, Zharatustra) it forms a wonderful collection; all made in Italy!
