A Day To Remember Homesick

For the albatross up there: it’s a fucking review, nothing more, and I don’t think you can understand what kind of person I am from a review! I'm sorry you didn't like it, but c'est la vie, everyone has their own tastes; in this genre, I definitely prefer different people (read the other reviews!), and from the same ADTR I much prefer the first album, which is much more "bad" and honest. I hope yours isn’t one of the many comments thrown in there to stir up trouble... peace!

I'm very sorry, but this album is far inferior to the first two, sorry. Same riffs, same melodies, same old structures that are now more than overused; I hope Tremonti starts experimenting a bit more as a guitarist.

this album didn't excite me; I can't say it's a complete disappointment, but it was partly so. Tremonti seems to be dangerously drawing continuously from the same source, which means frighteningly identical riffs to many old songs, choruses that this time don’t stick in your head, blatantly overused structures both from Alter and Creed, and even a voice that, while still remaining at a very high standard (for me), feels repetitive. Only 2 or 3 tracks are worth saving; the rest is absolutely non-essential. Having 2 bands that essentially play the same genre is starting to feel like a sign of a lack of ideas...

much better than the Architects of these assholes up here.
but MUCH better is an understatement.

not to mention Engine Number 9 by Deftones... they touched the untouchable... then as you say, with production nowadays they all sound like big bands... TRUE WORDS! my friends met them during the 2008 tour along with To Kill and Parkway Drive (I Locked In are very good friends with To Kill) and they told me they're absolutely crazy... like really crazy...

I put pop rock because I absolutely didn't feel like spending 3 hours looking for the genre :D

I'm sorry, but this album has deeply impacted me; I get a bit sensitive in these cases :D and you should also listen to MISERY SIGNALS!!!!!
