I arrived about an hour ago and I'm listening. I really like certain works carved with an axe. I'm a layman in the genre, but when I think of doom, I think exactly of pieces like this! the album with hackers was awesome: do you know Frank Sinatra? is dead! dead. ah ah ah. the second one had 4 funny tracks (meet sue be she- I beat that bitch with a hit, happy violentine etc etc) but it was moooolto inferior. this made me shit myself so I agree with you.

the review is very nice, and, along with the cover, it pushed me to look for the album. I found it from a private seller on Amazon because it seems to be out of print. in fact, I read the review a while ago but hadn't found anything... today is Sunday and the package should arrive next week, unless it gets lost (damn untraceable shipments!). if you want, I'll let you know what I think after I've listened to it, of course. you’re great as usual

Nice album, I agree with your vote. But in my opinion, Cat Power has already given all she had since '97. Of course, her albums will never be bad, but it was something different back then.
